Ms. Hawley is Assistant General Counsel of a large not-for-profit organization where she practices a wide variety of civil and criminal litigation. Before joining Rotary International, she practiced in the Corporate Criminal Investigations Pratice Group at Jones Day for four and a half years where her practice focused primarily on white-collar criminal matters and civil litigation. Her criminal caseload has included representation of clients who have been charged with criminal violations, including RICO, public corruption, insider trading, and insurance fraud as well as representation of clients under investigation by federal and state agents or a grand jury. Ms. Hawley also has been involved in conducting internal investigations and compliance reviews and has assisted in providing advice to clients on statutes and regulations, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. She has helped defend clients against federal prosecutors as well as federal regulatory agencies. Her civil caseload includes employment disputes, contract and Section 1983 civil rights litigation in addition to parallel civil proceedings, including qui tam suits.

Ms. Hawley is an Adjunct Professor at Elmhurst College. She also previously was an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University School of Law where she taught Trial Advocacy. She coached the Northwestern University Mock Trial team for nine years, where she led a team to the Prestigious Top Ten of National Tournament Competition in each of those years.

Ms. Hawley is in her fifth year on the Board of Directors of the American Mock Trial Association. Ms. Hawley earned her bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and French at Miami University and her juris doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
